Good for all October 28, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
this program is good for all ages and skill levels for improving one's typing skills. It has been around for years and it is still one of the best on the market.
Typing October 5, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing for my 7 year old grandson. He loves it! He is now constantly using it and doesn't want to quit for anything. He is learning to type and having fun.
Buggy! October 1, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was disappointed in this product. I'd tried a free download of an earlier version and liked it...but this version seemed to have a bug that I couldn't avoid. At a certain point, it advanced me from one level to another far ahead, omitting many lessons that I needed. I tried many ways around this, but it always behaved the same way.
Good for teaching kids to type/keyboard. September 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This software loaded perfectly and works flawlessly for my kids (middle school-age). They follow the lessons easily. The practice games are a little young for them, but they don't object to them. The games do reinforce the lessons and provide a bit of a fun break.
Fifteen minutes, three times/week seems to be a good routine; and they are progressing.
continues to be the best September 26, 2008 Excellent software for my children under 12 years old. Quickly becoming adaptable to the keyboard
