5 out of 5 stars Great Game for many reasons.   November 18, 2008
The expansion brings a lot to an already good game:

New Factions for three already-diverse sides, bringing a great amount of diversity. You can select a faction depending on the type of attack you prefer. Also you can select factions based on terrain, opponent or even your mood.

Online play is great because each side has a lot to bring to the table. Different strategies for each faction. You dont have to depend on specific tactics, even if you use the same factions over and over.

The more you use any faction, the more you discover strengths each side has.

5 out of 5 stars A Lot of Fun!   November 7, 2008
I enjoyed this game a lot. I play single player. I am playing it on a quad core, Vista 64 system with 4 gig of RAM.

The new weapons are cool, and the game is challenging. It is a game I will play over again a few times.

4 out of 5 stars Command & Conquer Kane's Wrath   November 2, 2008
I like the added vesatility & adjustability of the game play, as well as the added changes to weapons & vehicles and additional factions.
In addition to the enemy being adjusted between easy-to-brutal, you have AI levels from balanced to steamroller. Then each one of those levels can also be adjusted in 5% increments of handicap to get exactly the level of play competition you want to help hone your skills. Nice!!! As well as giving you the opportunity to play with a partner(AI) team which you can adjust to be stronger or weaker than you to develop your skills in cooperative play.

4 out of 5 stars More of the same... Exactly the point!   September 17, 2008
No need to go into detail. If you're considering this expansion you know what's coming. There's more poorly acted video clips, fast action, and fantastic game play. Kane's mask was so cheesy I laughed out loud. If you played and enjoyed C&C 3 this is required stuff. The "Add to Shopping Cart" button is right there at the top right ;-)

4 out of 5 stars Very Entertaining Expansion   September 15, 2008

Though this may be a spoiler it's rather an explanation - the campaign is told entirely from Nod's point of view. It details behind the scenes events and leads up to another sequel at the end.

Is it fun? Yes. Is it oh-my-god-this-is-amazing? Not really. The campaign, depending upon difficulty versus skill level with RTS games, can range from incredibly easy to moderately tough.

Onto the more important information - game play. Overall, the six factions are balanced rather well for it accommodates several play styles for each of the three major factions - fast attack rush tactics, expensive and incredibly durable steamrollers and a middle ground behind the main factions of GDI, Nod, and Scrin.

I've played each faction and each has its ups and downs that can if the player doesn't fully understand each faction's favored play style, may end up being the nail in his coffin. I suggest playing skirmish before trying online play.
