By intentionally I mean details that worked fine in previous versions that suddenly give different results or answers. I was not eligible for a child credit. The software provides a helpful looking link that says 'Why Not?'. The link however does not answer the question but provides other links and speculation as to 'why not?'. TTax knows exactly why not. TTax forces you into guessing whether the software has made a mistake or not. How do you check? Anyone encountering this midnight on April 14th might have a coronary. Great but Macs must upgrade   May 2, 2008 TurboTax is fantastic -- got us ~$5000 back after H&R Block did it incorrectly -- but you must have Tiger or Leopard on your Mac in order to run it. What a nightmare I've been going through with this! My Leopard disc was apparently defective and so now I'm stuck with an OS with problems, freezing and such. I only upgraded because of TurboTax. Otherwise, I would have been very happy going on with super stable Panther. Arrggh. But at least TurboTax whipped through our taxes with speed and alacrity and yet another refund. TurboTax is terrific, over all, worth the hassle. Turbo Tax Home and Business   April 30, 2008 This product was well worth it. It saved me so much time than the old way by hand.
