If you have a small business trust me this is the only way to go to keep your accounting straight and make life easier for your tax person. It is user friendly and doesnt take long to figure out the program. This is an absolute must if you have a business. don't upgrade. stay with what you have.   January 20, 2008  5 out of 6 found this review helpful even though i backed up, i lost 3 months worth of data when upgrading. constant updates. put a product on the market before it had been fully tested. i do not recommend unless you're starting from scratch. cpa review of Quickbooks pro 2008   January 18, 2008  9 out of 10 found this review helpful i use quickbookspro in my practice and recommend it to most of my clients. my one beef with the program is the way they set the software to always be connected to its maker, INTUIT. you are always getting updates and once an update is received if you do not install it the persistent propmpting to complete the install is really annoying.... then every time you open a clients file (and I have 800 clients) you have to update the clients file. this takes TIME and we are a busy office... TURN OFF THE AUTAMATIC UPDATES is my recommendation.... INTUIT - set the auto updates to off when you ship.... Quickbooks online banking took a little while to work   January 9, 2008  6 out of 6 found this review helpful I spent all day on the phone with BoA and Quickbooks trying to get the Quickbooks online banking features to link with BoA. The situation was resolved when I learned that you have to wait 24 hrs after BoA makes a change or enables a feature. Quickbooks 2008 Pro is a great product for the money. The range of features is amazing. It does seem to be a little buggy, so support is a must. Since Intuit only provides 30 days of free callback support, I strongly recommend purchasing the annual paid support plan if your business depends on it.
