Have constant problems with this product. It will not close - sends error messages but problems are not corrected. More often than not when you imput data or try to access information you get the message "not responding." I'm just glad the developers of this product were not responsible for developing critical hospital patient care programs as most patients would have died a long time ago.

I wanted to buy this software and Amazon had the best price. I love Outlook 2007.
Outlook makes appointments easier June 19, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Before installing Outlook on my Sony laptop with Vista, I had problems getting my calendar to transfer from my desktop to my laptop and my iPod. I learned that Outlook (not Outlook Express, which I now use on my desktop)is the Gold Standard for E-Mail, appointment calendar and contact functions. So, I put it on my Sony VAIO, which has Microsoft Office 7 (but not one that has Outlook included) installed. It was easy to install Outlook and easy to use. I still have to pretty much enter my Palm contacts manually (where I have about 400 detailed entries). This is because you can only transfer one at a time and it only picks up the Business contact info. I do like the functionality of the E-Mail, Contacts and Calendar and it is very user friendly. Also Outlook can transfer data to my iPod Touch, with reminders included. So, although not perfect, it seems to be the best option for me to update my calendar. I probably will also install it on my older desktop. I believe it will work well with an older version of Office (2000) but may loose a little efficiency, which probably won't be a problem for me.
