NFL 2K3, giving Madden a run for the money $$. August 28, 2002 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
First of all I would like to start say that Sega has done very good job on this game. The things that make this game good is; the presentation, the graphics and the realism of fooball. There is no Madden cards at the end of the game, to give you power ups or anything, just like the pros. I would give this game 5 stars, but it if was not for the interception happy defense(use your judgement wisely when passing.) They put a little to much on the defense side of this game, like getting hit from 5 yards away, and QBs getting sacked to many times. There is no challenges for bad calls, if it had that it would have knocked off Madden.
Go with Madden August 28, 2002 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
NFL 2K3 is a good game. However, somethings I just don't think are good. You see, the control is not as smooth as Madden, the graphics are much worse, and the feel to the game is just not football. I usually make franchises, and I think in Madden, it is a whole lot easier, more guided steps, and better feel to the position. With Madden's new Football "Camp" it just blew all compotition away. NFL 2k3 is a decent game, but if you've got 50 bucks, go with Madden. Madden is a much more realistic game, the players on the field are bigger, and the roster of Green Bay hasn't lost all of its good players.
The gameplay [stinks]. August 25, 2002 I traded in madden 2003 to get this game. And I wish I hadent. The gameplay [stinks]. For ex. Just when Im about to throw the ball a defender just touches me a little and the ball is tipped and always intercepted. Plus you can hardely see your recivers open because it zooms in on the quarterback to much. Well I got my madded game back and Trust me You should stick with madden. The only thing good was the graphics.
Finally My time has come! August 18, 2002 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I own all of the nfl 2k's from the "interception easy" NFL 2K, to the "hurdle to another TD" 2K1, and the "he's open I'll throw to him" simplicity of 2K2. Times have change from the over the top Randy Moss to the down in the dirt toughness of Brain Urlacher. This time their not holdin' back
great game June 26, 2002 I gave this game five stars because it's good, i've played it before(nfl 2k1 and 2k2)on my dreamcast(rest in peace) and wow it was amazing. Now i ain't kidding this ain't gonna be a wrestlemania x8 preview were everybody gave not five but seven stars for a game that turn out to be well you know what i mean. I just hope that nothing changes here, i mean yeah why not it could be a little better but just a little no more, i know everyone's seen this game so i don't need to describe it, if these guys want the perfect game here's an idea(hopefully they will) check madden 2002, see whats not included in 2k3 and add it to the game, yes it's that simple, hey i should be in the businness!! but in all iknow this ain't gonna be just another wx8 this is going to be one serious game baby!!!(M.C. i miss you!!)
