I will never buy cords in stores again. The online cords are dramatically cheaper! Why spend $70 for something you can get online for $20!

This cable just doesn't work for Canon HF10 and the OEM website (Apogee)clearly states that. Good thing is I can return and get full refund from Tripp Lite. Amazon website shouldn't recommend this cable with Canon HF10.
 Broken? December 19, 2008
I've been lightly using this cable for a year and recently found signal loss once in a while. This can be fixed by moving the cable a bit until image is seen again and keep it there. It seems to me like one or more wires broken inside.

This product doesn't work with my Sony HDR-SR 11 camcorder. I returned my first cable since it didn't work properly(any movement of the cable would knock off the video feed immediately), the second one doesn't work at all. I didn't bother wasting anymore time exchanging it again. Would rate zero stars if it were an option.
