 Bad Camera December 1, 2008
I bought this camera last year.
Picture is terrible, dark colors all the time, I almost have a reflector in my face to appear in the screen.
I do not recommend this camera.
This was a waste. Sorry for these words but it is the thrue.
If you want something good, try Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 or 5000.
They are very good cameras.
I am very happy with the Pro 4000.
But do not spend your money in this terrible cam.

This product works better then expeced for the price. I use it with my wife who is depolyed and it works great, used it about 20 times now and haven't had any problems.
Good Picture, Bad Design October 12, 2008
The cam doesn't stay clipped to my laptop very well, but the picture quality is pretty good. The next laptop i buy will def have a built in cam because traveling with this (even with the provided case) in a hassle as well. It's easy to install and works well with skype so overall i would reccommend it.

Oddly enough, I wasn't sure about the Logitech QuickCam, what for the price and all, but remarkably, it does what I need with exceptional clarity!

Logitech QuickCam Deluxe for Notebooks
No problem installing the software, up and running in aprox. 7 minutes.
Performes a lot better than the built in webcams. Crisper pictures and very good quality of sound.Used with AIM, no trouble at all.
